The security and stability that one dreams after marriage were things that Vijay Lakshmi never received. After the birth of her baby, she realized she needs to work to fulfill the basic needs of her children. She started with Rs.400 and started witnessing the boom in her business. Her success made her in-laws insecure and she was thrown out of her house one night. She wanted to kill herself and her son, but followed the mantra of 'never give up'. She wanted to deal with life and the challenges in life and started all over again. She talks about how our society cannot accept an independent woman who is a successful mother and entrepreneur. Her life issues did not stop. She had to give her hard-earned property to her husband for a divorce and faced other challenges.
