कई बार ये ख़्याल हमारे ज़ेहन में आता है कि आख़िर वो कौन सी शक्ति है, जो आम लोगों में आ जाती है और वो अपना घर-परिवार छोड़ कर, देश की सुरक्षा के लिए खड़े हो जाते हैं| सैनिकों के बारे में सोच कर हर हिन्दुस्तानी का सीना गर्व से चौड़ा हो जाता है, पर कहीं न कहीं उन वीरों के लिए हम ज़्यादा कुछ नहीं कर पाते | शहीदों के परिवारों के लिए कुछ करने के लिए दिल्ली के artist, Hutansh Verma अपने कलम की ताकत से उन शहीदों की शहादत में चार चाँद लगा रहे हैं| Hutansh Verma, शहीदों के Portrait बनाकर ख़ुद उनके परिवारों तक पहुंचाते हैं| Hutansh Verma, एक artist हैं, और दिल्ली के एक स्कूल में art teacher हैं| Portraits of Patriots' नाम से मुहीम चलाने वाले Hutansh Verma, kargil war heroes, शहीदों के सजीव Portraits बनाते हैं और नि:शुल्क उनके परिवारों तक पहुंचाते हैं| हुतांश एक middle class परिवार से हैं, उन्होंने परिवार की सहायता करने के लिए 17-18 साल से ही काम करना शुरू किया. पेंटिंग में रूचि होने के बावजूद उन्हें painting करने के लिए ज़ादा वक़्त नहीं मिलता था| 19 साल की उम्र में, परिवार को न संभाल पाने का दर्द और बुरी तरह टूट चुके Hutansh ने खुदखुशी करने की कोशिश की पर अपने आप को संभाला और अपनइ जीवन में उच्च बेहतर करने का ठाना| अपने पिताजी की बात मानते हुए Hutansh ने शहीदों की portraits बनाना शुरू किया| और उन्हें खुदसे शहीदों के परिवार तक पहुँचाना शुरू किया| अब तक हुतांश ने देशभर में 57 Portraits पहुंचाए हैं| Hutansh एक कुशल artist हैं, उन्होंने न केवल अपने talent को समझा और अपने talent का उचित इस्तेमाल किया, इनका शहीदों को श्रद्धांजलि देने का अनोखा तरीका सबसे हटकर है| हुतांश ने एक छोटी सी पहल की. पहले वो ख़ुद शहीदों के परिवारों से संपर्क करते थे, अब उनके काम को देख कर Indian Army व परिवार ख़ुद उनसे संपर्क करते हैं| यही है बदलाव| निश्छल मन से किया हुआ काम ही आत्म-संतुष्टि देता है| हुतांश ने अपनी ज़िन्दगी में कई ठोकरों के बाद भी उसे एक खूबसूरत और एक सफल मोड़ दिया| Hutansh Verma a Delhi-based artist, never imagined that a casual remark made by his father would one day blossom into a project that will bring smiles to families of martyred soldiers in various places across the country. For the past four years, Hutansh Verma, now an extraordinarily talented artist has been making paintings of martyred soldiers and personally gifting them to their family free of cost under his initiative ‘Portraits of Patriots’. Hutansh Verma, being a middle-class family boy, started working and supporting his family at the very early age in his life, but he always had a talent of painting. But due to lack of time to practice and with the responsibility of the whole family on his shoulders, he neglected painting for a long time. With his hectic life and the fear of not being able to fulfill his duty towards his family, he tried to commit suicide. But he gave life another chance wanting to bring the change, and hence started his success story. Hutansh has seen twists and turns in his life but he always followed his strong will and passion and believed in hard work and keep trying. Encouraged by his father, Hutansh started painting portraits of Kargil war heroes and delivering them to their families. Through this initiative, and love for country Hutansh is keeping alive the martyrs in our lives and giving them a tribute through his talent. Hutansh has made 57 portraits till date including Kargil war hero Manoj Kumar Pandey, Captain Pawan Kumar, who was killed leading an operation in Jammu and Kashmir, Captain Vijayant Thapar.
